Rhea School 1923. The Rhea School District #3 was established in 1908.
Rhea is in northwestern Parmer County. It was named after the brothers' Joe E. and John W. Rhea, who developed a ranch on former XIT Ranch land in July 1901. F.L. Spring and Charles Schlenker were the first farmers in the area in 1906.
